Tortellini & Ham Soup


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup ham, cubed
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped (optional)
  • 1 minced garlic clove (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 soup can of milk
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups hot cooked tortellini pasta

How to make

  • Cook ham, onion, garlic, and basil for 2 minutes in hot oil.  Stir often.
  • Stir in soup and peas, wait until it starts boiling. Reduce heat to low and cover; cook 5 minutes or until peas are tender.
  • Stir in milk, parsley and pepper; heat through. In large bowl, pour soup mixture over tortellini; toss lightly to coat. Serve with cheese (if desired).
