Kids cook-off to show off the skills of children in the kitchen

The second season of Kids cook-off with mentors Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri is about to take off on August 17th. The new season promises to offer viewers some good fun, interesting cooking and serious action in the kitchen.

Eight kids have been chosen to go against each other in Team Rachael and Team Guy for the the ultimate opportunity of winning their own series on FoodNetwork.com. The skills the kids will need to show to the judges range from actual cooking skills to creativity as well as on-camera skills and of course, as with any such show, how well they are able to stand the pressure of competing with others.

“I am so excited for another season of Kids Cook-Off, once again showcasing the amazing talent kids possess in the kitchen,” said Rachael Ray. “These young chefs are setting the bar and the example for families everywhere on the importance of the food we eat, knowing where it comes from, how to prepare it and making the time to share it with each other. It is always a blast to compete against Guy, and this season we’ll see no shortage of action and delicious fun.”

Together with the show also exclusive Rachael vs. Guy sweepstakes will be launching on August 1st with a VIP prize package that includes, among other things, a visit to Food Network headquarters and a cooking demo. For more information about it visit FoodNetwork.com/rvgkids.
